This one's less a review and more a "can't believe this actually happened" post. I got one of the first Finalmouse SLX units shipped out to a customer, and when I connected it to XPANEL — Finalmouse's own web portal for connecting, registering, and updating firmware on their devices — I ended up being the very first customer to register one there. Made a full video walking through it, embedded below.
If you'd rather watch it directly on YouTube, here's the link: youtube.com/watch?v=wvsiJWK0TtU.
What XPANEL Is
For anyone who hasn't run into it, XPANEL is Finalmouse's browser-based tool for connecting a compatible device and managing it — firmware updates, settings, that kind of thing — rather than a traditional installed app. Being first through that process on a brand-new SLX unit isn't something I was expecting going in, but it's a fun footnote to be able to say.
You can find the SLX line directly on finalmouse.com if you want to see current availability — these tend to move fast when they're in stock.
