The shape is safe and grip-agnostic on paper, but that big, centered hump makes the whole mouse feel like it's built around a hand bigger than ours — restrictive rather than accommodating. The 2c is the fix we didn't know we were waiting for.
Logitech shrunk the shape by roughly 5% in both length and width and cut another 10% of weight, landing at 51g. It sounds like a small change on a spec sheet, but shape is felt in millimeters, not percentages, and this one is immediately noticeable in hand.
Shape & Ergonomics
This is where the 2c earns its score. The same symmetrical silhouette is here, but the shortened length means the hump sits under your palm instead of pressing into it — the restrictive feeling we always got from the standard Superlight 2 is gone. Fingertip grip benefits the most from the shorter body — there's less mouse to drag when you're driving purely off your fingertips. Claw grip is comfortable thanks to the reduced width. Palm grip works fine for smaller hands, though larger palms will likely still prefer the standard Superlight 2 or something even bigger.
Build Quality & Materials
The shell coating and switch feel carry over from the Superlight 2 lineage, which is to say: consistent, no rattle, no flex. The LIGHTFORCE hybrid switches feel slightly firmer than the optical switches in the original Superlight, with a cleaner reset.
Sensor & Performance
The HERO 2 sensor is unchanged from the standard Superlight 2 — clean tracking, no smoothing or acceleration at real-world DPI settings, and the DPI ceiling is again more of a spec-sheet flex than something that changes actual gameplay.
Battery & Connectivity
Up to 95 hours of battery life is excellent for a mouse this light, and PowerPlay wireless charging support means you can effectively forget batteries exist if you already have the pad. Wireless connection has been rock solid in our testing.
