First Impressions

The Viper V3 Pro leans hard into "low and flat." Where the Superlight 2 gives you a modest hump to rest into, the Viper's rear tapers down quickly, which immediately signals what kind of grip it wants: one where your hand hovers rather than rests.

Shape & Ergonomics

Claw grippers are the clear winners here. The low rear lets your palm hover just above the shell while your fingertips and mid-fingers do the work on the front two-thirds of the mouse. Fingertip users benefit from the short length and light weight, making rapid flicks feel almost weightless.

Palm grip is workable but not ideal — larger palms will find their hand overhanging the back of the shell with little support. If palm comfort during long sessions is your priority, this shape will fatigue faster than a taller, huamped design.

Build Quality & Materials

Razer's shell coating on the V3 Pro has a slightly softer matte texture than previous Viper generations. Side grips use a rubberized texture that noticeably helps during fast lateral flicks, which matters given how much of this mouse's design is oriented around speed.

Sensor & Performance

The Focus Pro 35K sensor is effectively overkill for the DPI ranges most players use, but tracking is clean and consistent with no noticeable smoothing or acceleration at typical settings. Click latency is among the lowest in its class.

Battery & Connectivity

Battery life is solid for a mouse this light, though slightly behind heavier wireless competitors that have more room for larger cells. Connection stability has been consistent in testing.
