This is pretty much a 1:1 copy of the OP1 8K V2's shape, so I went in expecting to like it just as much, if not more given the lower weight and the forged carbon fiber build. That's not how it went.
Clicks
Heavier than the OP1's. Noticeably so, and not in a way that reads as "premium" — it just takes more effort per click for no real benefit.
Build Quality & Feel
Despite being carbon fiber, this overall feels cheaper than the OP1. That's a strange thing to say about a material that's supposed to be the selling point, but the fit and finish just doesn't come across as premium in hand the way the OP1 does.
Base & Skate Flatness
The base on mine does not sit flat. I can feel it rocking back and forth in use on my Skypad — it's not subtle once you notice it. I tried tightening and loosening the screws to see if that was the fix, and it wasn't. This is the deal-breaker more than anything else here.

To its credit, 37g is meaningfully lighter than the OP1 8K V2's 49.5g. But a lower number on the spec sheet doesn't make up for heavier clicks, a cheaper overall feel, and a base that won't sit flat.
